by Donn Werrbach (His Son)
William's paintings uniquely convey the essence of the Pacific Northwest.
Overlooked, demolished, or perhaps just forgotten: Torn pieces of the fabric of the Pacific Northwest are rewoven.
In his paintings, William captures a spiritual sense of people and places.
In each painting a story unfolds of life, love, work, and what became of hopes and dreams...
Of the spirit of things: As land erodes; As life renews; As we live and pass through time...
Portrayals of marvelous things that we all too often ignore.
Unlike many other artists, William Werrbach's paintings are not lithographed and numbered for resale. When you buy a painting, you get the original work. William often attaches a hand written description on the back of the painting naming the place and other details of the subject.
